| Find help, discover hope, and experience healing at this 13-week DivorceCare Program that will be held every Monday from 6:15 - 8:15 PM at the New Community Church building. You are welcome to begin attending the DivorceCare Program on any given week because enrollment is weekly and anyone can join at any time. Each meeting centers around three parts: VIDEO Our group uses the DivorceCare video curriculum, which is used by churches around the world. At each meeting, you will watch a video on an issue related to divorce from a Christian point of view. These tapes will feature experts speaking on a wide variety of topics. You will also hear the personal stories of people who, like you, have gone through separation and divorce. SUPPORT GROUP After the video, you will become a part of a small group that will discuss what you've seen on the video and share your own personal experiences. Each group is led by men and women who have gone through DivorceCare and who have been trained to facilitate these groups. These groups will give you the opportunity to build new relationships and gain support from others. BETWEEN MEETINGS You will receive materials that can be used to investigate topics more personally and privately, including handouts, workbooks, and Bible studies that will provide practical applications for what you've learned and guide you through the healing process. Please pre-register for the program. Childcare will be available for a nominal fee. Contact the church office at general@new-communitychurch.org or by phone at (724) 935-0909 or call Gail Beek Each session is "self-contained," and you can continue through the next 13-week cycle to view any sessions you might have missed.
